On 17th June 2004 African Classic Encounters
celebrated with 60 guests and press aboard the elegant
Motor Yacht Eastern
Star.
Singer Vicky Levy performed "The best is yet
to come" and "America the beautiful" when Lady Liberty came into view.
A wonderful rendition of "New York, New York"
while sailing up the Hudson river with the Manhattan skyline providing a
dramatic backdrop for the visual presentation " From the heart of Manhattan to
the Soul of Africa - A Magical Journey" kept guests enthralled and eager for a
repeat visit to Southern Africa.
