in Grande Provence wine estate’s chic restaurant is refreshingly
different and masses of beautiful fresh blooms spill from voluminous
vases.
Vanie Padayachee’s menus are seasonal – the summer menu offering fresh
flavorful dishes such as blackened calamari with a warm niçoise salad;
maple syrup glazed duck breast on fried greens, with butternut and lemon
grass purée, and plum dressing; and pomegranate parfait with
strawberries marinated in aged balsamic vinegar and black pepper.
